Year 5 have been learning about Earth and space by drawing chalk pictures of the planets and studying the artist Robert T McCall and manipulating images.
They have also been writing poems with smilies and metaphors about the sea.
The children have enjoyed hi 5 netball and have learned a variety of throwing techniques, as well as attracting and defending.
In maths the children have been doing lots of reasoning - thinking about problems and working out in addition, subtraction, shape and data handling.
The children love coming to the front and being mini teachers and discussing their learning with the rest of the class.
Soon- (17th Nov) they are going on a trip to Madame Tussaud’s to look at the Brian Cox space exhibition.
